Paw Prints Requirements
New client registrations are required to:
1. Complete a client and pet profile on our scheduling platform
2. Review and sign our client agreement and liability release form .
3,. Provide a copy of dog’s current vaccination records.
4. Scheduling a daycare evaluation .
HEALTH
All dogs must be free parasites , ticks/fleas, and communicable diseases. Any dog that poses a risk to the health of other dogs in our care will not be accepted at check-in. If our staff finds reason for concern while your dog is in Paw Prints care, he/she will be separated from the group and will contact you about picking them up and /or seeing a veterinarian. We will gladly welcome your dog back once they are healthy again and no longer pose a risk of infection .
VACCINATIONS
We want all dogs to be safe and healthy. As such , and in compliance with New York City Department of Health (NYCDOH) and the recommendation of the American Veterinary Medical Association, we require proof of the following vaccinations from your veterinarian probiotic to using any of our service .
- Rabies**
- DAHPP (distemper,adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza and parvovirus
- Bordetella (Kennel cough preventive vaccine required every six months )
**The rabies vaccination certificate MUST SHOW:
1. Date and signature of the veterinarian.
2. Description of the pet (i.e. age , breed , color, sex, name ).
3. Name and address of the owner.
4. Type of rabies vaccination
5. Duration of immunity
6. Date administered, name of manufacture, lot number, and expiration date.
NEUTERING/SPAYING
All male dogs must be neutered, and all females spayed- no exceptions – to take part in our daycare or extended stay (boarding) services
TEMPERAMENT
For the safety and enjoyment of all participating members, dogs must be socialized, people m-friendly and able to play safely with other dog .
It is our number one priority to maintain a safe and enjoyable play space for our clients pets and our staff alike . Aggressive or extremely anxious dogs are disruptive to the group and pose a potential risk . Dogs exhibiting these behavioral signs will not be accepted into our daycare.
Each new dog is required to have an evaluation with our team prior to joining daycare or extended stay services . This evaluation helps us confirm that your dog is healthy . Has positive interactions with our employees and other dogs, is comfortable in daycare environment and meets all perquisites(spayed/beau termed and current on vaccinations ). FIRST TIME DOG LS COMING IN AN EXTENDED STAY MUST COMPLETE AT LEAST (1)half or full day session prior to boarding with us.
We are unwavering on this commitment as should any other good groomer or daycare provider be . Paw Prints reserve the right , in our sole discretion , to refuse to provide services if we determine that a dog’s temperament is not suited for the requested service , or if a dog cannot be handled safely by our staff.
